During the November 1985 Flood, Catherine B. McMillion climbed onto the roof of a flood ravaged house trailer to escape the rising water, and was able to cling to a small tree using her belt for some time before falling from the tree into the flood swollen stream and was swept away. Victim believed to have drowned, and her body is still missing.
