On 9/29/22, NCIS was notified that Charles Lee Reese was presumed to have fallen overboard off the coast of North Carolina. Reese was a civilian Military Sealift Command employee working on board the USS MEDGAR EVEREST (T-AKE 13). Search and rescue efforts of the surrounding water yielded negative results as well.
