Kay Read

Kay had a special Valentine's dinner with her Mother from Long John Silver's. After dinner they watch their normal Thursday night TV shows then Kay left for home. Kay called Mom at 9:42pm according to Mom's caller ID. That was the last time anybody heard or spoke to Kay. Mom always called Kay at 6:30am to make sure Kay would get up for work (that was one way Mom took care of Kay even thou Kay didn't need it.)When Kay didn't answer several times, Mom called Mary to see if Mary had talked with her. Mary went to Kay's house 2.5 miles away finding Kay & her van missing. Kay's brace (Kay has polio needing either her right leg brace or her crutches to walk) and crutches were both at her house. The Tucson Police Dept. were there at 7am. TPD searched going door to door, looking in dumpsters, backyards everywhere. The searched by quad, foot, helicopter through the whole desert area, the scrap yard, they even went to the land fill. Kays van was reported on fire at 9am 2.5 miles from her home. Kay was no where to be found. TPD is still working on finding Kay.
