Luis Murillo Gonzales

Luis contacted his family on April 9 and he said he was going to start walking that night near Encino. He was part of a group of ten. On April 12, the family received a call from one of the group members telling them that he could no longer walk and that he had been left behind with a water bottle and a cellphone. The group had encountered Border Patrol several times but no one was detained; however, he was too tired to continue.
