We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of everyone who uses Project Aziz. This page explains what data we collect and how we use it.
We collect information you provide directly when you create an account, submit a case, or send a tip. This includes contact details, case information, any supporting media you upload, and — as described below — your location.
The Project Aziz mobile app collects precise (GPS) location data from your device, and from any Aziz Node field hardware you pair with your account, in order to power My Aziz Network:
Location history may be retained on our servers for longer than the 30-day window shown in the app, for operational and security purposes.
You control this data: you can deny or revoke location permission for the app at any time in your device settings, which stops location sharing immediately; you can remove any person from your Aziz Network at any time, which immediately cuts off their access to your position; and you can request deletion of your location history, or of your account entirely, at privacy@projectaziz.com.
We use personal information — including location data described above — to operate the platform, respond to tips, coordinate search efforts, and provide secure access to authorized agencies. We also use data to monitor system performance and improve our service.
Our site may use cookies and similar tools to support session security, analytics, and performance. You may manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.
We may work with third-party vendors for hosting, analytics, and payment processing. These providers are selected carefully and required to protect data in accordance with this policy.
Project Aziz uses technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
If you have questions about your personal information, or if you would like to request access, correction, or deletion, please contact us at privacy@projectaziz.com.
