Anonymous Tip Disclaimer

Important information about submitting tips through Project Aziz — please read before submitting.

Emergency Notice

If you have information about an ongoing emergency or immediate danger, call 911 immediately. Project Aziz is not a substitute for emergency services and cannot dispatch law enforcement.

1. What "Anonymous" Means

When you submit a tip as anonymous, Project Aziz does not store your name, email address, or account information in connection with the tip. However:

  • Your IP address and browser metadata may be retained in system logs for up to 90 days for security purposes;
  • A valid court order, subpoena, or law enforcement legal process may compel us to disclose available metadata — anonymity is not guaranteed in a legal context;
  • If you are logged into an account when submitting, your submission is associated with your account regardless of the "anonymous" option selected for the case owner's view.

2. Tips Go to the Platform, Not Directly to Law Enforcement

Tips submitted through Project Aziz are received by the case owner (the person who created the missing person case) and by Project Aziz staff. They are not automatically forwarded to police, the FBI, or any other law enforcement agency. If you have actionable intelligence, you should contact law enforcement directly in addition to submitting a tip here.

3. Accuracy of Tips

Tips are unverified by Project Aziz. We do not independently confirm the accuracy of tip submissions. Case owners and law enforcement are responsible for evaluating tips. Project Aziz makes no representations about the reliability of any information submitted by users.

4. False Tips Are Illegal

Submitting false, fabricated, or misleading information through Project Aziz may constitute filing a false report, obstruction of justice, or other criminal offenses under applicable federal and state law. J Computer Solutions LLC cooperates fully with law enforcement investigations and will disclose available information in response to lawful process.

5. No Reward Guarantee

Reward amounts displayed on case pages are set by case owners, not by Project Aziz. J Computer Solutions LLC makes no guarantee that rewards will be paid. Any dispute regarding reward payment is between the tip submitter and the case owner.

6. Limitation of Liability

Project Aziz and J Computer Solutions LLC are not liable for any outcome, harm, or consequence arising from tip submissions, including reliance on inaccurate information or failure of law enforcement to act on a tip. Use of the tip feature is at your own risk.

7. Prohibited Content

Tips must not contain: personally identifying information about uninvolved parties, threats or harassment, defamatory statements, sexually explicit content, or content that violates any applicable law. Such content will be removed and may be reported to law enforcement.
